    ITINERARY

    First Day

    Day 01: Cusco – Km 82 – Wayllabamba

At 4:30 am, our tour guide will come get you from your Cusco hotel. Additionally, we will pick you up a little later, after 6:00 am, if you are staying in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, such as Ollantaytambo or Urubamba, a bit later, after 6:00 am, we will come get you. We will start our four-day walk to Machu Picchu at Km 82 in the village of Piscacucho, which will take around two and a half hours to get there from Cusco. Our first stop will be Ollantaytambo town, where you may buy anything you could need for the Machu Picchu journey and enjoy breakfast. Around 8:00 am, we will reach the trailhead at Km 82, where you will be greeted by our incredible staff of porters and chefs. After preparing ourselves and going to the checkpoint, where you will present your passports at the main entry, we will be prepared to cross a bridge over the Urubamba River and start our journey to the Lost City of the Incas. With a three-hour journey that passes through many nearby communities and culminates at the Inca site of Llactapata, the first day on the traditional Inca Trail is rather easy. After visiting the Inca complex of Willkaraqay and admiring the breathtaking view of Patallacta from its vantage position, you will climb for fifty minutes to reach the settlement of Taroyoq. When you get to the camp, we’ll give you a welcome drink, and our chefs and porters will cook a delectable supper using fresh ingredients. and we will trek for two hours to Wayllabamba, where we will camp for the night, after lunch. Our estimated time of arrival is 5:00 p.m. and your tents will be prepared beforehand. As you take in the stunning mountain views, you will have time to settle back, sip hot beverages, and unwind. We’ll also have tea time with popcorn, coffee, and cookies before supper. In cozy tents, we will spend the night so that we can recover for the following day.

    Second Day

Day 02: Wayllabamba – DeadWoman Pass – Pacaymayu

Since we will arrive at the dead woman’s pass at 4215 meters (13,825 feet) on the second day, it is the most difficult; A healthy meal this morning will get us ready for the trip by filling up our water bottles and providing the necessary snacks. The most difficult ascents via the historic Inca stairs are found in this stretch of the path, but not before completing the checkpoint. However, the area will provide great views of the surrounding mountains and a chance to spot a variety of Andean hummingbirds. You may anticipate taking a number of pauses throughout this section of the climb, taking pictures, and just taking in the scenery and elevation changes.

The Dead Woman Pass (4,215 m/ 13,825 ft), the highest point of the Inca Trail, is reached after an upward trek. We will eat lunch at Llulluchapampa, 3,800 meters (12,464 feet), before ascending. Following lunch, we will continue our two-hour hike to the Dead Woman Pass, where we will rest properly and take in the surrounding scenery. After three hours of walking downward from this highest point, we will arrive at the second camp, Pacaymayu, which is 3,650 meters/11,972 feet. Everything will be ready when we get to our camp; all of the tents will be set up so you can relax, and our crew will applaud you when you arrive. We will then have tea time and a delectable supper made by our chef before retiring for the night till tomorrow.

    Third Day:

    Day 03: Pacaymayu – Runquraqay-Phuyupatamarca

As you rise on the third day, remember that this is the most stunning day to yet. Before you get up for breakfast, the guide will wake you up at six in the morning and bring you a cup of hot tea or coffee in your tent. After eating breakfast and packing our bags with water and snacks, we begin the day with a leisurely climb to the Phuyupatamarca ancient site. In order to learn more about Inca history and archaeology and to have a break before continuing on to the next high peak, we will stop halfway up the pass and tour the ruins of Runkurakay. The Vilcabamba and Urubamba mountain ranges can be seen in all directions from the Runkurakay pass, where we will enjoy the magnificent views. After enjoying some well-earned downtime at the summit, we will descend for one hour and thirty minutes to the next Inca ruins, Sayacmarca, where our tour guide will lead us on an exploration, prior to going to Chakicocha for lunch. Following lunch, the trek leads to Phuyupatamarca (3650 m/11 972 ft) through a cloud forest with breathtaking sweeping vistas. After enjoying a delectable meal at the third campsite which is regarded as the most gorgeous along the traditional Inca Trail we will promptly retire for the night.

    Four Day:

Day 04: Phuyupatamarca – Sun Gate – Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes

To get ready for the tour’s high point, you should get up early on the last day of the classic Inca Trail hike to Machu Picchu. We’re going to Machu Picchu, the Incas’ Lost City. When it opens at 5:30 am, we’ll head straight to the checkpoint and wait. We will stroll for an hour to the Sun Gate (Intipunku) while the sky clears, taking in the magnificent vistas. On a clear day, the Sun Gate offers a breathtaking view of the dawn over Machu Picchu, which is a sight to behold. The most significant locations in Inca City will be covered in a two to three hour tour led by your guide.
